I built a bar for my house many, many years ago. Went to Home Depot, had them cut my wood, built and stained it. It was cool. When I get fired from radio, I’m opening a german flavored bar/wine drinking place that will serve lots of Coors Light bottles, Reisling and some Oktoberfest beers. I’ll call it Amy’s Wine Haus. I am cracking myself up today. Just like Mom always said, I’m my own biggest fan.

Since only three people read this, I think I can get away with a little bit of inappropriateness.

Although I could have posted many, many things on the facebook devil today, I stuck with this one, but then I deleted it after Iris, Shan and I had a good laugh. I am going to hell. RIP JD.

No sillies. But she was discussed this morning on Mark and Brian. I am going to put on my big girl pants and self edit as I am likely to get into trouble today, but let’s just say this- she is very talented, my opinion, and hugely popular right now, fact, so it’s likely she would be discussed on many popular radio shows…are you following me here? Done.

So here is her latest single, which I happen to love, opinion, and sing very loudly around my house, fact. My son keeps telling me to shut the hell up. Fact. She is awesome live, opinion, and this performance is from Jimmy Kimmel, fact. The actual video is a little on the creepy (awesome) side, opinion. Oh, I like to change some of the words to fit my own subconscious and I have changed a few of these words of this song as well. Think Nebraska to…M…never mind.

Oh, and I was totally going to wear that same outfit today…

And Lying Sister- she does NOT sound like Shania Twain, opinion.

I wish I had a piano to dance on.

All three of you know perfectly well that I don’t sleep. Hardly ever. And I often complain about it on this here blog. I think I actually may be part robot. As I was sucking up to Mike M today practically begging on my hands and knees (wait- that sounds bad) for an additional station/responsibilities/raise, he mentioned he should buy me lunch. I promptly informed him that I rarely sleep or eat, I simply refuel my robot body every few hours with Starbucks, Redbull or Coors Light. Sometimes all three at the same time. I digress.

Sleep has been especially tricky this week for many reasons, but mainly because I just discovered Breaking Bad. Not only do I not eat or sleep on a regular basis, but I didn’t watch TV for decades and while I hear or read about good shows, I rarely watch them, which is why I am about 6 years behind the general public on all the good shows. I’m likely to be discussing the great new Weeds episode, only to find out it aired 5 years ago, or a funny new episode of Seinfeld or Friends from 1998. I am incredibly unlearned in the TV realm. I have discovered a few shows I like, including Nurse Jackie and Hell’s Kitchen, but I can generally take em or leave em. After tearing through all 7 seasons of Weeds this year, I decided, out of sheer middle of the night boredom, to give Breaking Bad a try.

OMG! Addicted! It’s the show about the high school chemistry teacher who cooks meth so he can take care of his family after he is diagnosed with lung cancer. Fantastic acting. Great characters. I am in LOVE! They have a mobile RV meth lab, he cooks in basements, in super-labs, there’s lots of violence and shootings and gangsters, etc. It reminds me of Gresham.

So that’s all really. Good show. So now I’m staying up all night watching the past three seasons on Netflix. I finished season 2 last night, didn’t sleep a wink, could barely tear myself away from the TV at 5am when I sped to Starbucks for the first time of the day.  I’m also catching up by watching it online in my office when I’m supposed to be working! I love the internet.

Just kidding. I’m actually working very hard and never stream TV shows while at work or play Pyramid Solitaire. Promise.

So totally me. Not sure what the tip is, I just like looking at the picture. I totally do that with my Coors Light belly – I show it off and shake it all around. No really, I do.

No, not a dancing homeless man, but a gigantic rat running across the parking lot as I made my first Starbucks run of the day at 5am. Not a cute Templeton form Charlotte’s Web kind of rat, but a beady eyed gross under a restaurant type of rat. I screamed. Not sure why as I was by myself in my car and I am not afraid of rodents, just bears, and my car is obviously way larger than the rat, yet I would have been less surprised somehow had I seen the dancing man instead. This day could not be over soon enough.
