I met Lady April years ago when KGON was at the Kelly Street location.  She would call and chat about the different bands that we loved.  She was a total Zep-head in those days.  Probably still is.

In her day, she was also a “Band Aid” (for more information, see the movie “Almost Famous”) and has great stories to tell.  I won’t tell them here though.  That’s for her own book of adventures which she should publish at some point in time since she is also a kick-ass writer.

So she LOVES rock music like we all do, and became almost religious about Rush.  She plans several viewings while they are touring and has become one of the utmost authorities of everything Geddy, Alex and Neil.

When April dedicates herself to a band, she goes full-tilt.

Now she’s become fascinated with Michael Palin.  Being a Monty Python freak myself, I totally understand.  My boss, Mr. Burns, once made a comment that Monty Python freaks are somewhat like Frank Zappa fans.  Yes, yes we are.  Weird and freaky and fiercely proud of it!  Long live freaks!

So, with her approval, I share with you the pictures she took from this last tour.  Enjoy!
